Life Skill Training Camps introduce boys 12-16 years of age to essential skills needed to succeed in life. The camps are held one Saturday out of every month from 9am-noon. The boys who attend receive quality instruction in soft skills and major life skills. Our goal is to help boys learn the skills needed to be leaders in their homes and thrive in the current and future job markets. We target soft skills that Texas employers have expressed are most lacking and most needed in their employees. Please see the complete skills list for the year below. Through interaction with godly mentors and instructors, we desire that each young man will find true success and freedom in a relationship with their Creator.
For boys who would like to take this training further and really work toward their successful future, we offer monthly missions they can do at home. These missions are given out directly after the Life Skill Training class is over and must be completed by the due date printed on each mission. Boys who complete the missions will earn successive ranks and be eligible to go on the end of the year trip. Detailed information regarding the end of the year trip will be made available in March. All mentors, chaperones, and guides undergo background checks and are qualified for the roles they perform.
